About Samira

I believe that everyone deserves access to compassionate, culturally sensitive mental health support.

Samira

My Journey

My path to becoming a mental health consultant began in Iran, where I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. During my training, I had the privilege of working at Razi Psychiatric Hospital — one of the largest and most established psychiatric centres in the Middle East — where I gained invaluable experience working with diverse populations and complex mental health conditions.

After immigrating to Canada, I continued to deepen my expertise by completing a certificate in Infant and Early Child Mental Health at Seneca College. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Health Psychology, combining my clinical experience with research to better understand and support the health and well-being of my clients.

My personal experience as an immigrant gives me a unique understanding of the challenges that come with starting a new life in a different culture. This perspective, combined with my professional training, allows me to offer culturally sensitive support to clients from diverse backgrounds.
